    1. Correct answers
      1.extinct , argued , altered ,succumbed
      2. suitable , development , assess , compounds
      3. spending ,continual , limited , improvements

  2. As i know, succumbed and capitulated have the same meaning, so if I choose “capitulated” will it count wrong?

    1. Succumb is more commonly used for injuries and phrases related to death. E.g. Mary had an accident and she succumbed to her injuries before reaching the hospital. Here it means, Mary died.

Whereas, capitulate is used when you surrender in a fight, battle or war. E.g. King George IV had to capitulate to the enemy forces.

      Hope it’s clear. 🙂

  3. For 2nd one, i believe it will be Evaluate instead Assess because-

Assessment is defined as a process of appraising something, whereas evaluation focuses on making a judgment about values, numbers or performance of someone or something.
