Some believe that ‘the gap year’ is a waste of time, while others consider that it’s useful or even necessary. Certainly, the year off is great for those who haven’t enrolled the wanted faculty or just don’t want study for some time. You can turn this year into one of the most fulfilling, productive and enlightening years of your life. If you focus on the right things.

The young most often use this year to travel, learn languages, volunteer, work, research and exploring. You can also use this year to spend more time with your family and friends, getting to know them better, which will contribute to better comprehension between you.

On the year of you can focus on your aspirations which can make you more efficient in accomplishing your tasks. The Duke University, after realizing that the most of their students enrolled the faculty after the year off, noted that those students come from the university more mature, confident, immune and successful. Students which take the year off often recommend it as a great and enlightening experience.

The benefits of ‘the gap year’ aren’t just about enjoying, as people often think, but more in the experiences that are different from the ones that were obtainable so far. In modern education system institutions are customizing courses and curriculum to meet student’s requirement. Lot of colleges allow students to take a break before finishing school. The discussion that taking a year off is becoming popular among students and is beneficial is debatable with both sides having logical arguments. In this essay we are going to discuss the pro and cons of it and will provide reasons as to why it helps to take a break.
On the one side critics may point out that taking a year off breaks the continuity. After break it becomes very hard to focus back on studies and results in loss of time and grade. They may also argue that once someone starts earning it becomes very hard for them to come back to studies, hence student drop rate increases.
However, in spite of all the above arguments there are many favourable consequences of taking a year off. To begin with, college studies mainly focus on theoretical aspect of the subject and gives students very less practical experience. During this break students can do some apprentice jobs which can give them an opportunity to test out the theories. Moreover, continuous studies wear our students and they start to lose focus. A break can help then freshen up and come back to studies with fresh energy. In addition to this, the job experience ones gets during the break can help student market them well with companies who come for campus recruitment. Practical experience give them an advantage as companies prefer students who have experience of working in real environment.
To conclude, in my opinion taking a time off improves students experience, freshen them up and also increases job prospects. If planned properly it can go a long way for successful career for the students

There is an ongoing debate on whether taking a year off after graduation is worth the benefits or not. In this essay I will discuss both sides of the argument.
On the one hand, a year off provides extra time to prepare for university exams. It also gives an opportunity to relax and take a short break from studying upon finishing school. Many people decide to travel for a few months, which can later in life become challenging to afford as a result of work, university or family commitments. All these benefits can play a crucial role in the academic performance of a student once enrolled in a university course.
On the other hand, a year is a fairly long time and some argue that it should be invested in career instead of preparation for a university or having a break from studying. Every year of work experience can have a great impact on promotion decisions, meaning the sooner one gets employed the faster he/she will end up on the top of the career ladder.
Overall, having a year off between finishing school and going to university has its advantages and disadvantages, which need to be considered on an individual level prior to making a decision.

In the sophisticated era, it has become more popular to take a year off or gap after school. some people consider, it is a better decision to have a gap after school, however, some argue with it, and says year a gap makes a hard to concentrate on study once again. In this essay, I am going to highlight the both, pros and cons of year gap and continuous study.
First and foremost, a year gap gives students to improve and build their horizones, confidence, immune and successful. Eventhough, students can freshen their mind and they can spend time with their family and friends. Moreover, students may engage in the short-term course to improve their skills and to get benefits in their further studies during the year off. Apart from this, in this period of time, they may take aprenticship and volunteer work, and earn some money as well by doing any job which can help them to support their further study as well as to obtain experience. therefore, students can prepare themselves to accept the challenges that they have to face in the future.

On the other hand, some people argue that it is not a good decision to have a year gap. they argue, in a year a gap students start to lose their concentration in the study. Besides this, students change their mind sometimes because they become materlistic once started to earn money.
