It is evident how life has changed since technology has been introduced in the human life. When we think about technology mostly the first thing that comes to our mind is the image of a computer. Technological advancements such as computers have been designed and created with the only purpose to help humans and make their lives easier. Computers have become indispensable in any workplace where they are basically considered a compliment for people to help them on developing their activities. In fact, computers are the greatest invention of all time because they have multi-tasking features that can minimize your work, they can display and let you manipulate stored information, and they are used in almost all fields for any purpose.

First of all, computers have multi-tasking features that can minimize the work you have to do. For example, computers avoid you having to calculate any result on doing the math, the only thing you must do is to type the information needed and your work is done. Secondly, computers can display and let you manipulate stored information. In other words, you don’t need to use paper in order to store any information on shelves. You don’t even have to rewrite a whole paper because you did a mistake or you have to add more information to the written form. You can have as many files as you can on your computer and organize them the way you like it without having to use any extra material or space.

Finally, computers are used in almost all fields for any purpose such as entertainment, education, and any type of job. For example, you can use computers to play video games, watch movies, listen to music or chat on the internet for entertainment. In education or any job, you can use them for video conferences, PowerPoint presentations or just using their basic features discussed in the first point. Therefore computers are the greatest invention of all time because they reduce your time consumption of your activities, you can save your information and edit it anytime, and they let you do almost everything you need. Computers have become the most powerful tool ever created.

Well, there are myriad of inventions that mark this era as the technological era. With multitudes of inventions; be this in transportation and communication or advancements in health care, things have changed completely to a far greater extent. As a result of this change, values in the society have also seen sea-change and this very fact is evident in our daily lives.
Needless to say, this is detrimental but bound to lead our family system to further deterioration. For instance the use of Smart Phones along with smart applications such as Facebook, Whatsapp etc. make a detrimental stuff to our family system. It is becoming a fashion and people of all ages are falling in this depression. Parents using smartphones do not bother their children’s care and vice versa. The ostensible outcome of this depression is Parents do not talk to each other while they are using smart applications. Similarly, another blowback effect of this problem is on the aging parents, less cared for in their food, clothing, and healthcare. Retiring individuals from services need children to care for their needs, but perhaps seldom receive care from their children simply because they are using smart-phones. Psychiatrists dealing with aging patients revealed some stunning revelations that are; besides health care problems aging individuals in the family system do not receive courtesy and adequate treatment. Meeting and greeting that once existed amongst the families is no more the social norms in the society. People within a family system may be socializing with friends and people at remote locations but they live awfully alien to near and dear ones.
In nutshell, the use of smart applications which makes one of the technological masterpiece, a principal factor in communication as well as socializing with people farthest apart, is alarmingly changing our value system both within the family and at the society level.

Change is the only constant in the world, so is the case with the technology. Scientists are leaving no stone unturned to bring advancement in the technology. Some would call this effort as suffering but some others like me would be the proponent of such progress.
Advancement in technology can prove to be beneficial in numerous ways. To begin with, for example; with the introduction of MRI systems neurosurgeons could peak into the brains of the patients even before surgeries to detect areas of problem. Furthermore, this has become possible with the help of wireless technology that people could connect to near and dear ones who are thousands of miles away. Adding to the list of benefits, another very good example is technology advancement in aerospace, with the help of which astronauts could travel into space and unveil the secrets of the universe, as well as they could launch satellites into the orbit of the earth which are being utilized as multipurpose tools of communication and coordination throughout the world. So, one can easily see that technology by no means is adverse so are the changes in it.
A 360 degree opposite view regarding technology is that, whenever there comes newness in it, the result is mere suffering for the mankind. However, it makes complete sense to disagree with such stance. Though, due to development in the technology, the older ones get obsolete so do the gadgets running the older technology, but that does not mean that evolution should be stopped or cursed.
In a nutshell, it can be inferred that even if advancement in technology costs a lot, it is still better to adopt it since it brings a variety of perks for the users.
