STATEMENT OF PURPOSE for New Zealand -SOP Sample

My name is Gurjeet Kaur. I belong to Bakapur, Nawanshahr a beautiful city in the Punjab state of India. Here I have attempted to put a little insight into my academic and family background. I have done my class 10th in March 2004 and class 12th in March 2006 from Punjab School Education Board. After that, I have done a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. After that, I have done Master of Business Administration in 2011 from PTU. To get an international level of education was my dream always and to fulfill this I have decided to go for higher studies in New Zealand to achieve my aim. I would like to upgrade my study with a Diploma in Business Level 7, that is why I am applying for a student visa.

I belong to a close-Knit family. My father is A.S.I in Punjab Police and my mother is a homemaker. My father and maternal uncle are supporting me for my study and stay in New Zealand.

From my early childhood until today, my most remarkable characteristics have been my curiosity to learn new topics. My keen interest in learning new ideas, when combined with my inner desire to reach a degree of excellence in every piece of work I perform, enabled me to acquire significant knowledge on various aspects of nature and technology, as well as leading me through a successful educational career.

The multicultural nature of its society means international students are readily accepted by other students, and teachers are experienced in teaching classes to students from many countries.

About the course: Diploma in Business Level 7

Diploma in Business Level 7 is a one year course. The diploma is composed of six papers. Papers are designed to achieve knowledge and skills in designing, installing, and testing local and wide area networks. Project management will teach us to prepare, propose, conduct, and execute networking projects and database design and management principles to perform administrative tasks. Graduates will learn how to develop self-learning and critical thinking abilities plus an extensive range of knowledge and skills across key elements of networking with skills to apply knowledge in the optional strand they select. This will equip us to enter immediately into a productive role within an organization or progress into further study in specialist areas.

Future Plan:

After earning a foreign diploma, I plan to return to my homeland and seek employment with a reputed multinational company as my long term plan is to get into the private, corporate sector.

In the end, I would like to conclude all in few more words that the next step of my life or next few years of my life will be crucial in the sense that after getting a diploma from New Zealand and the experience of learning and interacting with people from all around the world will give me the chance to establish myself in a better work environment and also the experience will be beneficial for me, my family, the people associated with me on any work environment and ultimately for my home country. I completely understand that I will have to leave New Zealand at the end of my legal stay, I reaffirm that I will strongly abide by it.
