Global Problems
PTE ESSAY Global  Problems

No one can overlay the fact that the planet we live in is under serious threat. Increasing number of natural calamities like Tsunami, earthquakes, floods, and hurricanes have given us repeated warning signals. Government, corporates, and individuals must work in coalition to fight this by fostering organic lifestyle.

To begin with, Urbanization and industrial revolution are the major factors that severely damage our environment. Vast deforestation to accommodate people moving in cities has fueled global warming. Moreover, enormous carbon emission by factories and automobiles has polluted the atmosphere.
In order to bring positive change; companies, government authorities, and individuals must work in harmony with nature. The government has power and influence to enforce stringent laws to minimize the extent of CO2 emission. Companies must act in E responsible manner.

To overcome the problem, the first step is to create awareness among people about the risk we are facing. Secondly, there must be heavy penalties for offenders polluting the environment. Furthermore, the government must promote the use of alternative or renewable sources of energy and provide subsidies on it. Individuals can use recyclable products and reuse them. Until these measures don’t hurt companies and individuals pockets they will keep doing things to increase their profits.

All in all, it’s teamwork as we are all in the mess together. We simply cannot afford to damage the future of our next generations. We must put collective efforts to in order to save the planet.

  1. Our planet is under serious existential threat due to constant dangers both from external factors and dangers from within. Living with a multitude of dangers, strategists, and planners perhaps we individual like to foster this debate to determine exactly who is to be held responsible: are we as one individual or it falls in government domain in its entirety. In this essay I will express the nature and scale of the problem and propose steps to reign in this burgeoning decay, affecting millions of lives on this planet.
Firstly, threats, as strategists argue, are far more than just seen. Taking a holistic approach or introspection of our lifestyles, it is undoubtedly clear we as individuals are threatening our own lives. For instance, we prefer crowded cities over organic but simple lifestyles prevalent in rural areas. Resultantly, on one hand, the mass exodus from rural areas is causing not only too much congestion coupled with overburden on public services while at the same time, mushroom growth of housing schemes needing tremendous cutting down of forests and recreational areas reserved for a morning walk or fitness exercise. Similarly, our sedentary lifestyles are adding to our obesity and other cholesterol complications.
With that being said, this matter being too serious in all its ramifications, Governments are responsible partly because they can discourage mass migration of people from rural areas to urban area by providing more infrastructure and other life amenities on their doorstep. Provision of quality education, availability of health services especially for elderly and the children are an effective strategy to discourage this trend, in general, contributing to external factors of environmental degradation. In addition, the introduction of lucrative tax collection over the excess of threshold emissions can, however, control environmental decay to a great extent.
However efficient as it may be, it is not solely the responsibility of Government but us individuals to overhaul changes to our sedentary lifestyles, bring preference to walk over short distances, prioritize fitness exercise in the morning routine. Combined with public and private partnerships, we can mitigate the consequential effects of environmental degradation for our future generations.

    1. The environment we are living in is in danger due to various problems…so who do u think should be responsible for solving it? Is it the governments, organization or each individual?

It is considered by some that the environment in our surroundings is in danger due to several factors that slowly destroying it. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of each and every one; no matter what organization you are affiliated.
The world we are living in is gradually changing into an industrialized age. There are also various factors that affect it. Everything is made by using a machine and the raw material they get from the earth. The daily household materials we use every day even if it is ecofriendly or how sustainable it is, everyone pitches in the rubbish we make.
It is evident that the government cannot handle the inevitable disruption in the environment. Everyone should pitch in by helping their own special way. For example, those organizations should make every effort to help those who are neglected by the government to do some actions, like the wild life, if those business people decided to do disrupt some animals, because they are blinded by the profit they make, organizations can step up and stop those that affect our environment. Moreover, each should do their part at home, outside the streets to help in cleaning the community.
In conclusion, it is inevitable to stop the change that is disrupting our environment, but individually we can make a stand to prevent that from happening if only we help ourselves and pitch in by giving a hand in our community.

  2. The problem of the poor environmental condition is an issue that has been brought up by many people in the past. Let us analyze this topic to consider the underlying causes and shed light on the best solution available.

There are various root causes that need to be taken into consideration when we talk about the problem of clean and unpolluted environment. These include industrial waste, uncontrolled vehicle registration which causes pollution as well as heat in the atmosphere. There are also increased instances of problems such as wasting natural resources like oil and water, cutting down the trees and also the frequent use of chemicals in our day to day life.

There are numerous ways to address this issue and it is the responsibility of all of us and not limited to the government or their ministries. One thing that can be done is to spread awareness in mass population about the importance of a clean and green environment. Enablement of people should be done to recycle the product especially, plastic, paper, etc. The government should intervene and assist the people in solving the matter by providing structured enablement on how to recycle the product especially, plastic, paper, etc. It is equally important that along with this, a mandatory health checkup of the vehicles, a regular audit of industrial waste and things like reserving natural resources and planting more trees are also taken care of.

In conclusion, such conscious and collective steps can be taken on an immediate basis to compensate the damage we have did so far and be fairly conscious of not repeating this mistake. Consequently, this will reduce the problem.

  3. It is conspicuous from various data , obtained from various organization that colossal upsurge in pollution has severe effects on our environment. There is a widespread worry that this would only lead to a myriad of problems. In my opinion , there are multiple causes due to which our environment is in danger and governments are responsible for this. If government can take small measures, we can save our environment, I will be discussing this briefly.
There are number of arguments in favour of my stance the most preponderant one is the air pollution which is caused by manufacturing facilities and combustion of fuel by vehicles and other means. If government could impose strict rules on the emission level of carbon dioxide and other chemicals, factories has to follow them thus reducing substantial amount of waste and CO2. Majority of industry and vehicles are dependent on Oil, it is the responsibility of government to find alternate energy resources so that the dependency on Oil can reduce. A common person can’t make such rules and find alternate energy resource further they have a little idea about the potential damage of burning oil which in turns polluting our environment.
One more important aspect which is destroying our environment is the use of plastic. Plastic which is a cheap product is being utilized everywhere for instance in packing products, at shops as bags , manufacturing of disposable products and many other. Plastic has a long life and can’t be eliminated easily thus increasing the pollution. A common person is not aware about the potential danger he is contributing to the environment , for him these are just few bags but when it adds up collectively it’s a huge risk. If there are restrictions on usage of plastic bags only, that will bring a huge change to our environment, again it is the responsibility of government.
There are multiple other examples , however , as briefly discussed above arguments one can conclude that mainly government is responsible for the potential danger to our environment and with small rules we can easily safeguard our environment where we live in.

  4. It is an undeniable fact that today’s world is in a grave danger due to various reasons. While there are many reasons behind these problems, an imminent solution to these is not available. In order to provide a better world for next generations we must work all together including governments and corporates. This essay will provide some ideas on how we can tackle this task.
First, we must establish the root-causes behind the environmental problems. Main three problems are global warming, excessive consumption of natural resources and building a lot of hydro-dams which alters the nature of rivers and lakes. Despite majority of the people agree that these are the main problems behind the problems with our nature, not all of governments and profit-making organizations agree over it. There must be a consensus among all regulatory bodies and companies so that solutions could be implemented.
Second, once we establish the consensus among all the main stakeholders, we need to establish a task team to combat these main problems. A governing board must be established and needs to oversee all strategic decisions. Under governing board regional counsels could be formed to manage daily activities and monitoring the progress of implementation of solutions. Finally, governments must update their citizens regularly over the actions executed. A matrix style organization should be established.
Third, once the global organization is established to combat the problems. First solution could be to pass an international law which may enact reduction of global warming. Second solution could be that we increase the awareness thru continuous education online and advise how every human being can make small but important contributions in this war.
This essay discussed the sources of global environmental problems and advised multiple of ideas on who to combat these.

  5. Recently, environmental issues such as global warming, water pollution and, air pollution have been considered by many scientists, governments, and the public. As we all know, there are a plethora of reasons who are responsible for this environmental degradations. From my perspective, the concurrent efforts of all governments and individuals are needed to eradicate the negative impacts of human activities on the climate.
First and the foremost reason which brought a significant harmful effect to the environment is human activities including individuals and manufactures. There are many examples of this. Take, for instance, according to the empirical evidence a large amount of CO2 which in consequent of their products released to the atmosphere, directly caused global warming via increasing earth temperature.
In addition, another factor to consider is thanks to medician progress during the last century, the rate of population growth has dramatically increased. For example, the amount of gas that consumed by cars in the result of overpopulation has dramatically climbed. Therefore, to provide all human demands for petrol, the exploitation of scarce natural resources will be essential. So, this is directly caused drastically damage the planet.
To recapitulate, this essay discussed the most noticeable reasons for environmental degradation such as human aggressive actions and overpopulation which both will get the earth in to unbalance circumstance. I strongly believe the only way to rescue our life, is the general cooperation of all governments, policymakers, organizations, and individuals.

  6. We live in an environment which is in real danger with problems due to various types of pollution. Governments, organization or each individual can play a vital role in taking responsibility to resolve this. In this essay, I am going to elaborate on why responsibility more lies with each individual.

Firstly, We must admit, that we are living in a nation with more freedom. Which certainly play an important role in pollution that affects us. With a lot of factories, people may get jobs, but it comes with a major side effect called pollution. Air and water around us are polluted with 30 % toxic gases. The latest Delhi status shows children now are breathing toxic air, which is one of the primary reason for cancer. Governments can control this, but it should start from the individual. It is each individuals responsibility to aware of the situation and acts upon it.

Secondly, People use to fill all water masses on our surrounding to make big structures. Which actually kills human habitat to survive. The best example to say is chennai flood which was caused due to this. For the construction of flats they have filled all ponds nearby which caused a massive flood.

Pollution is one of the major dangers we have to face from our surrounding. In conclusion, Organizations, Governments have to act on it, but it should start from the individual first

  7. The onus of preservation and protection of environment lies with the government because they are the policy makers to stop uncontrolled industrial expansion, urbanization resulting in deforestation and in setting up alternate energy resources plants like solar, nuclear and wind energy in the places of fossil fuels energies. Furthermore, government should promulgate laws through awareness programs to promote Eco friendly technology like the use of CNG in vehicles. But contrary to such proactive measure, it is seen that some government gives priority to economical gain and encourage illegal industrial growth and neglect the protection of environment and public health.
On the other hand, it is also the duty of the individual to change their lifestyle which have negative impacts on the environment. Since government cannot intrude into the private lives of the citizen, So ever citizen should make conscientious effort to make use of public transport and minimize the use of personal vehicles, to abstain from using polythene and use and throw culture and try to keep the surrounding clean and green.
Therefore, it should be the primary concern of the government and citizen’s behavior to contribute into the preservation and protection of environment and safety of the planet.

  8. There is no denial to the fact that the environment is continuously deteriorating day by day. There are multiple reasons for the destruction but, the major cause is over exploration of nature by humans. As a global citizen; we humans are having the prime responsibility to protect the environment.
The population of world has been increased multifold in the last century in comparison to earlier era. This has resulted in extensive urbanization and settlement of human being in cities resulting into increases of requirements like; food, space, resources for the living. This inturn has resulted into over exploiting of nature and destruction of forests. Further, to fulfill the needs, there is a rapid increase in factories with also damaged the environment by effluent discharge and smog by factories. This entire problem further triggers the global warming which is a threat to human in coming decade.
We as a human are collectively responsible for the damage and hence; responsible for the prevention. Firstly, we need to strict our laws and regulation to control the abuse to the environment. Secondly, at individual level, we must try not to damage and must plant a tree in our life. Further, by using public transport, natural fuel, increasing treatment units in factories and making manufacturing process eco friendly will also contribute to a sustainable environment.
In conclusion, it is not out of the way to state that the protection of environment is a combine effort which requires equal participation of citizen and governments to ensure the compliance. We must put combined efforts as we cannot afford the damage to the environment.

  9. Environment protection is assumed as one of the most important challenges of this era. At the first glance, we understand that both the individuals and the governments are needed to protect the environment but the challenge is that one is unable to perform too much unless government prepares the proper infrastructure including legislation and technology.
People are needed to avoid the plastic bags and PET bottles but they can’t do so unless government supports the reduction in the production of such harmful substances and materials. On the other hand, people are unable to limit industries pollutions like gas and chemical releases. If people find a factory with a chemical waste outlet to the sea, only the government is as powerful enough to limit the operation of that factory or even close it.
The government must define the rules and spread educational facilities to make each and every single person understand the importance of this issue and easily protect the environment. On the other hand, the big industries are the most harming the environment rather than the human.
However people participation in environmental protection is very important, they cannot perform enough until the government facilitates this. People’s strive to keep protected must be supported by government compulsory rules and obligations. As a conclusion, it is mainly the government duty to draw laws, prepare the proper infrastructure, and limit polluting industries to protect the environment.

  10. although, such topics in all likelihood, never will yield a consensual agreement. a constructive dialogue on the cause for the destruction of the environment. there are multiple causes for environmental toxification. it can lead to thought-provoking discussion. my view is that irrespective of the numerous arguments exist on both sides. the increasing population and money-minded materialistic personality is the main crucial thing for enhancing the environmental globalization. there are a number of reasons in favor of my stance. to commence with the first cause population, day by day people are increasing which lead to urbanization and the second one is people become more practical and women are going outside of work so ultimately due to lack of time disposal material use more which is made by plastic, use of vihical wich improve carbon emmision as well as anoter toxic chamicals.it is important to note that another cause is e- material and use of nanotechnology….therefore, aforementioned arguments show that due to modernization and lack of concern about the environment rather than lifestyle .anothe pivotal aspect for discussion is that health regarding wast production, as every coin has two sides if not use disposal items in health department so contamination increase which leads infection from one person to another.some crucial aspects regarding the environment is also associated with few disadvantages.first and foremost is that people are not taking some responsibilities if they become responsible a lot of home produce west, sanitation west can be stoped which ultimately improve the condition of climate .and also the government, as well as individual people, should be conscious toward the environment. govt will prepare some rules and people must follow these rules.
in conclusion, I see that there is equal potential for arguments. I have provided and hence my opinion is that awareness and segregation of the west will play a vital role. and also some rules by the government perform like fragrance in gold. it will improve the environment condition.
